Grants Process
The Tam High Foundation Grants Process
The Tam High Foundation Grants process takes place twice a year and is open to all teachers and administrators. Applications are reviewed by an independent grants committee who then share their considerations to the Tam High Foundation Executive Board. After robust discussions and deliberations, it is the Executive Board who will vote to fund grants that are in alignment with the Tam High Foundation Mission Statement and the goals of our school site and LCAP.
Grants Policies
Grants awarded by the Foundation must be aligned with the Site Council’s School Improvement Plan for Student Achievement & Wellness (SIPSA) and the District’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
To ensure alignment:
1
Copies of the most recent plans will be distributed to Grants Review Committee members prior to the grants review process.
2
The grant application form will explicitly ask the applicant to identify which specific SIPSA and / or LCAP plan goals the grant is designed to address.
