Our Mission
The Tam High Foundation is a fundraising organization that fosters the academic excellence and emotional and physical well-being of all Tam students. In partnership with Tam High faculty and staff, the Foundation funds grants which support innovative programs, cutting edge tools and equitable educational opportunities to provide every student with a pathway to success. With community support, our efforts make Tam High both a top academic high school and an extraordinary experience.

We ensure that each grant that we fund reflects our Mission Statement, the school district LCAP goals and Tam High's school site goals. Where appropriate, our grants are evaluated and feedback is given to the Executive Board.
The Tam High Foundation was established in 1995 by parents who wanted to raise funds to support teachers and enhance the school experience. It has since raised more than $5 million and is now an independent 501(c)3 organization. The Tam High Foundation comprises our executive director, volunteer parent board of directors, two teacher representatives, and the principal. We recruit volunteer board members from our school community in the Spring, so if you are interested, get in touch!
The Tam High Foundation is one of 3 parent led fundraising organizations on campus. Tam Boosters raises funds to support the after school athletic programs and the Tam High PTSA raises money to advocate for and support students, staff and parents. The three groups work closely together to provide a great experience for all of our families both inside and outside of the classroom - we hope you can support all three!
